2021 Mazda CX-5: Prices and Specifications

Mazda CX-5
Originally unveiled in 2012 and fully revamped for 2017, the 2021 Mazda CX-5 SUV is available with three engines: a 2.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine developing 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque; a 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine generating 250 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque; or a 2.2L twin-turbocharged Skyactiv-D Diesel engine producing 168 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Each of these engines is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the front wheels (entry-range CX-5 versions) or all four wheels (higher range variants). In addition, the diesel-powered CX-5 benefits from an exclusive two-year/32,000 km free maintenance plan.
A complete interior
The interior equipment and comfort of the CX-5 will please the driver as well as the occupants. The interior features an 8-inch touchscreen (a gain of one inch compared to last year's models) and offers standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrated compatibility. The CX-5 compact SUV can accommodate up to five occupants and their luggage, and has a towing capacity of 907 kg. What is more, the 2021 CX-5 is available with a power liftgate with programmable height adjustment.
For the 2021 model year, Mazda is introducing two special editions of its popular CX-5: the 100th Anniversary Edition with Snowflake White Pearl exterior, Garnet Red leather upholstery and matching floor mats; and the Kuro Edition with Garnet Red leather-trimmed interior, exclusive red stitching on the steering wheel, power driver's seat, 19-inch alloy wheels and exclusive body colors.

On the safety front, the new 2021 Mazda CX-5 comes standard with the Advanced Blind-Spot Monitoring system (ABSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Smart City Brake Support (front) and wide-angle rearview camera. The Signature also features two important new features: Smart City Brake Support Rear and Driver Attention Alert.
