And for its new vintage, it spoils us with more oomph! Here is the all-new 2021 Mazda3 with turbo engine, yes, you read that right, a Mazda3 Turbo! Under its long hood is a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. And if you fill it with Super Gas, those numbers go up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft. The Mazda6, CX-5 and CX-9 use the same engine.
Your Spinelli Mazda dealership in Montreal, midway between Laval and the South Shore, is expecting it by the end of this year, and although we don't know its exact release date yet, the 2021 Mazda3 in its sedan form will sell for $32,900, and the 2021 Mazda3 Hatchback will start at $33,900. When equipped with the Turbo engine, the 4-door and 5-door models will also benefit from all-wheel drive, however, only the 6-speed automatic transmission will be available.
Features of the new 2021 Mazda3 include among others the suite of i-Activsense safety technologies, a heated steering wheel, an 8.8-inch centre display, leather upholstery and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. If you opt for the turbo engine, you get 18-inch black aluminum alloy wheels, larger tailpipes and gloss black heated door mirrors. If you're leaning towards the sedan, it adds a gloss black front grille and sleek lower front bumper decoration.
